These coasters are hand-dyed using botanical materials on 100% wool flannel.  10-oz waxed cotton canvas provides a waterproof barrier to protect your furniture while looking stylish and aging beautifully.

These coasters were printed with raspberry and red oak leaves.

Eco-printing is a form of natural dyeing where color is imprinted onto fabric using the pigments present in leaves and other plant material. Fabric is tightly bundled with the plants and steamed to create unique prints. Some fabrics are also dyed with natural dyes, which may be derived from leaves, flowers, roots, bark, and even insects. Most of the plants I use for printing are gathered by hand in Minnesota.
